What you are consenting to
Federal law lets us give you agreements and disclosures electronically instead of on paper, provided you consent. This notice explains that consent, which is required under the federal E-SIGN Act before we can proceed with an online application.
By ticking the consent box or continuing with an application, you agree to receive the following electronically:
- Truth in Lending disclosures, including your APR, finance charge, amount financed and total of payments
- Your credit agreement and any amendment to it
- Payment authorisations, schedules and change notices
- Privacy notices and other notices required by law
- Statements, receipts, and notices about late or missed payments
- Adverse action notices if an application is declined
Records are delivered by posting them to your account area, by email, or both.
What you need to receive them
To access and keep electronic records you need:
- a device with internet access;
- a current version of a common browser that supports 128-bit encryption;
- a valid email address that you check;
- software able to display and save PDF files;
- enough storage, or a printer, to keep copies.
If our hardware or software requirements change in a way that creates a material risk you could not access records, we will notify you and give you the chance to withdraw consent without charge.
Keeping your email address current
You must tell us promptly if your email address changes. Update it in your account area or email [email protected]. If notices sent to an out-of-date address are not received, they are still treated as delivered.
Requesting paper copies
You may request a paper copy of any record we have provided electronically. Email us with the document and the date. We do not charge for paper copies. Requesting a paper copy does not, on its own, withdraw your consent.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing [email protected] with your name and account details. Withdrawal takes effect once we have had a reasonable time to process it, and it is not retroactive — records already delivered electronically remain valid.
What withdrawal means in practice. Our application and servicing process is entirely electronic. If you withdraw consent we may be unable to continue offering the service to you, and we may close your account after any balance is repaid. Withdrawing consent will never affect the terms of a loan you already hold, and it is not a default.
Scope of this consent
This consent covers your current application, any account you open, and any further application you make, until you withdraw it. It applies to you individually; each applicant must give their own consent.
Confirming you can receive records
By consenting you confirm that you can access this notice in the format in which it is presented, that you can receive and read email, and that you are able to save or print records for your files.
